Year and a Day Workshop: Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Year and a Day program?
The Year and a Day program is a guided, year-long journey into earth-based spirituality, magic, and self-discovery. Meeting monthly, it offers in-depth teachings, seasonal practices, and personal exploration designed to deepen your connection to nature and your own spiritual path.
Who is this program for?
This program is for anyone interested in exploring earth-centered spirituality and magical living, whether you are new to these practices or looking to deepen your existing knowledge. All backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
How often do we meet?
We meet once a month on the third Tuesday evening. There will also be suggested personal practices and study to explore between sessions.
How many people will be in the group?
We intentionally keep this program small — limited to only 7 committed students — to allow for deeper connection, individual attention, and a safe, supportive community.
What topics will we cover?
Each month focuses on a different aspect of magical and spiritual practice, including the Wheel of the Year, working with the elements, moon phases, creating sacred space, ritual tools, spellcraft, personal transformation, and more.
Will we be making things in class?
Yes! All materials are included for creating a variety of magical crafts throughout the year. These hands-on projects are designed to help you deepen your practice and bring magic into your everyday life.
Where are classes held?
Classes take place on our beautiful working farm, either upstairs in the barn or outside in our gazebos, surrounded by gardens and nature. Please note that this is an active farm with goats, horses, dogs, and other animals — adding to the magic and charm of the experience.
Is there parking available?
Yes. Parking is available behind the garage.
Can I bring my dog?
We kindly ask that you do not bring dogs or other pets to class, as we have farm animals and resident dogs on site.
Are there age restrictions?
Yes. Participants must be at least 18 years old, or 16 with signed permission from a parent or guardian.
Is there an application process?
Yes. To ensure a harmonious and committed group, we ask each interested student to complete a short application. Once accepted, you will receive a full course outline and further details.
What is the tuition, and is it refundable?
Tuition is $975 for the entire year. Because of the small group size and the commitment required, tuition is non-refundable for any reason.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes, we offer a payment plan option. However, please note that by enrolling, you are committing to the full tuition amount, even if you choose to pay over time.
What happens after I apply?
Once your application is reviewed and accepted, you'll receive a welcome email with detailed information about the program, suggested preparation, and everything you need to begin your journey.
What if I have to miss a class?
While attendance at each session is highly encouraged to get the most out of the program, we understand that life happens. Materials and assignments will be shared so you can keep up, but we do not offer make-up classes.
