MAY FLOWER MOON - Celebrating Beltane | May 1, 6-8pm

$20.00

You are warmly invited to join us for Beltane, or May Day, one of the ancient Celtic fire festivals that marks the turning of the wheel from spring into the fullness of summer. Traditionally celebrated with dancing, feasting, and ritual bonfires, Beltane honors fertility, abundance, and the returning light, a moment when communities gathered to bless the land, welcome new growth, and celebrate the joy of being alive. Today, Beltane still offers a beautiful opportunity to pause, come together, and reconnect with the rhythms of nature. We will dance around the maypole, kindle a seasonal bonfire, and share delicious food as we welcome the vibrant energy of the season together.

Our celebration will take place from 5 to 8 pm, and this year’s Beltane is especially magical because it falls on a full moon, a time traditionally associated with illumination, joy, and heightened energy. We will open the evening with a maypole dance, gather around a glowing bonfire to honor the season, and share a feast of potluck delicacies. Supplies for making flower crowns will be provided so everyone can create a touch of spring magic to wear. Please bring a blanket or folding chair for comfort, along with any beverages you prefer, and dress warmly for the outdoor setting. As this is a working farm with many resident dogs, we ask that you do not bring outside dogs without prior permission. To support our limited parking area, we recommend carpooling or biking to the farm whenever possible.

We encourage everyone to join in the spirit of the season by wearing spring or fairy inspired costumes or attire, bringing drums or other instruments if you wish, and coming ready for a lively and magical celebration of Beltane.
